Useful Windows Shortcuts.

In my many projects that I have started I have found the following shortcuts useful:

+ E = Opens "My Computer" and gives me access to all my drives.
+ R = Brings up the run box for entering a program to run.
+ TAB = Scrolls from program to program.
+ L = Logout of your session in Windows.
+ M = Minimize the current screen.
+ X = Shows the Windows Mobility Center.
+ 1-0 = Executes whatever you have on the shortcut bar located near the start menu.
= Opens the start menu if pressed alone.

All these coupled with the different Control plus another key have helped me with each of my projects. Thank you for reading through these and I hope this helps you navigate your computer easier.

Black Ops - Multi Player

I had the privilege of playing Call of Duty: Black-Ops on the Xbox 360 this past weekend. This was especially surprising because I don't even own an X-box. I played it with a friend that owns the game on my cousins X-box. We only played multi-player and we switched off depending on who was the player with the lowest score.

Needless to say, I stayed in the entire time and was able to win every game. The most looked forward to item seems to be the RC Car that you see race across the map and explode below an unsuspecting enemy. I tend to favor the ability to change the red dot sight on each of your guns instead. In addition to changing your sights you can also change the way you look and what you wear on multi-player on one console without leveling up. This gives everyone the ability to copy and use the best weapons that are freely available to everyone. For instance, if I was to go to my friends house and play him on his Ps3 I could chose the exact same gun and perks as I had on the Xbox without having to level up on his Ps3. No matter what system your playing on from the Ps3 to the Wii you will love this game if you liked any of the other Call of Duties. Sadly the only thing I did not try is the dolphin dive because I did not know of it then. Next time I shall dive in every direction.

Minecraft Classic Servers Worth Visiting.

Minecraft Classic on is a series of servers set up by Minecraft users looking to have a good time building buildings and "sprites" out of blocks off of Minecraft. In this article I will be mentioning four servers that I ventured through on my quest to find some decent servers to play on. Each of these servers will have pictures with them showing them the cool stuff you can find on them.

Server #1 the coolest server I found with the nicest community has to be by the Admin: ADW and his City Themed Server.

Server #2 is the one I found a huge picture of a Poke-ball made completely from blocks that took the Owner: NukaCola1000 a whole day to make! My most favorite creation of his is this:
Mario by NukaCola1000 on Minecraft Classic.

I'm not sure how long this took him but it is my favorite creation of his. As for the Poke-ball, it may still be there if you go to his server and check out the art section.

Server #3 is by a guy named "Facepalm." I did not actually talk to Facepalm but I did talk to a guy named Nanam98 and he showed me two sprites that took him four hours apiece to make. He made them without using speedhacks which allow you to fly. His first sprite is Mario as well and they are both awesome.
Mario by Nanam98 in Minecraft Classic.

His second sprite is Megaman! which is as awesome as Mario.Megaman by Nanam98 in Minecraft Classic.

Server #4 is the last server but certainly not the least by Wolf95 and he showed me some lockers for a huge stadium he made.
Lockers by Wolf95 on Minecraft Classic

After he Showed me this huge stadium he made.

If you have a server and want me to look at some of the stuff you have then let me know by posting a link to the server below!

Explanation of Minecraft (Sandbox Game).

Minecraft is an amazing game by Mark Persson that encourages creativity through an amazing sandbox
game mode. This game can be found at If you want to go ahead and check the game out have fun but for the rest of you who want to know more about this game just continue reading.

This game represents the most fun I have had with one game in a while. I have spent a few hours playing this game and may have this close to an exact science. In the next section I will explain step by step how to get started in Minecraft.

When you first spawn you should keep a few things in mind. You will always need wood and you need to build a house close to your spawn point because you may die. As soon as you spawn the clock starts ticking towards night and you only have a few real time minutes to make some sort of shelter from zombies. Once you make your shelter the first night and are hiding away you may notice that your house got darker even though you cut a few holes for windows. The second most important thing you will need is coal but you cannot mine coal until you have some sort of pick axe. Remember that wood you collected from that tree? Press "i" (for inventory) on your keyboard and place the raw wood harvested from the tree in one of the top right boxes. If you left clicked you will see planks with the number four pop up in the box to the right of those boxes. Click on the planks until you have no more raw wood or until the plank number reaches 64 (the max number of stackable items in one box). Then left click the planks to pick them up and drop one in each of the four blocks to build a workbench. This work bench will give you the workspace to make a pick axe out of wood and other things like ladders and storage boxes. To make a pick axe you will need sticks and in order to make them you need planks. Take you planks and stack them one on top of the other, this will give you four sticks. Then take your sticks and stack one on top of the other then line you planks across the top row to make a wooden pick axe. If you take the time to look at how it is made you should understand that the shape of the object is important to take note of so you know how it is made. In the morning you can take the wooden pick axe out and collect some stone. Making stone pick axes is the same as wooden ones but you have to replace the planks with stone (cobblestone). Stone picks make it easier and faster to mine things but will not mine things like redstone or diamond. You will need to smelt iron for that but for that you will need to make an oven to accomplish the smelting. An oven is made by outlining the box of your workbench with stone. As you can see this game is fairly complicated and requires some thought and strategy. These qualities of the game coupled with the randomely generated world make this game almost impossible to become boring. If you made it this far I hope you enjoyed this article outlining the basics of Minecraft by Mark Persson. Automatic Posting Website. is a website that allows you to automatically post to Twitter and Facebook and a number of other sites automatically! This is very useful for a website or blog that has an RSS feed. It gives your users more ways to get plugged in to the site. So if you did not want to get an email or RSS feed you can just like the Cyberleak blog Facebook page or follow me on Twitter @Cyberleak. Let me know what you think of and it's features in the comments below.

First Person Shooter for the Browser.

This game is called Phosphor and it is in its Beta 2 phase of development and is currently free to play without even signing up! The only game mode at this time is deathmatch but even against the bots it is pretty fun. I tried one other game that is on facebook about paintball and if you ask me I would rather play this one. If you have ever played the original Red Faction or Red Faction 2 for playstation I would suggest you play this. It is tons of fun. Now I'm going to go play a few more rounds while you search for it on Google!

Commenting Made Easier

In the search for a new site to allow my readers to comment easier I found an amazing site called Disqus. Disqus is a site that is dedicated to making commenting easier by integrating popular sites like Twitter and Facebook into there code and making it available to there customers. This comment system is easy to customize and install on any Html based website. Why not give it a try on your blog or website? If you do be sure to let me know what you think in the spiffy comments below!

Music Generating Game

This is an awesome game from Andre Michelle that makes making cool tones easy.
I would have posted it sooner but it is to amazing! Caution: you may play this for hours.
It has no way of saving the tones to Mp3 which is sad but you can copy and paste code onto the flash box to make crazy sounds. Have fun with this!

Twitter Integration

I have added Twitter to the Wibiya toolbar. This is an update to the blog that I think I may use often.
It gives me the freedom to update you on what I'm researching at the moment easily.

If you would like to ask me a question on Twitter just put @Cyberleak in your Twitter post.

This is a humorous way to describe a great OS with a less than perfect upgrade.

For the record I use Windows Vista and I am perfectly happy with it... because I'm broke.

This bar lets you search other things about the subject you want. For instance you can highlight any word ,or phrase , such as The Red Defection and come up with more information and even videos. Let me know what you think of it in the comments.

Computer Hardware.

I posted a new page that gives an outline of my research paper on Computer Hardware.

Each outline point leads to another page with that information on it.

I am currently working on a research paper that will be considerably long. This research paper will tell you everything you need to know about computer hardware. I will post the link for it as soon as it is finished so stay "tuned."

My Photo of a Frog.

I took this picture of a frog on macro function. I really like the detail so I decided to share it with you. I hope you enjoy this picture. If you want to you can buy it and have it printed on a number of things and have it shipped to you.

Have you taken some cool pictures that you want to share?

Let me know by posting a comment or emailing me.

This picture is a good demonstration of what Adobe Photoshop can do. It's a mid 50's Ford truck that has been manipulated to make all of the edges in the picture glow. If you look at it for a while you can see a candy jar. I hope you enjoy it.

What is your favorite Photoshopped picture?

Updates to Google Search

This is not exactly mind blowing but it will do.

This video explains some of the very minor updates to Google.

Which leads me to my pole "What is favorite Search Engine?"

My Apologies

I apologize to you for not bringing you fresh content in the form of a blog post for a while. While some of you may believe that I stopped this blog or just ceased to exist. I assure you that I have done neither of these. I have been up to my shoulders in school work and have not been able to post anything lately. This may come as a surprise but I do have some sort of a life. I hope to be able to bring you some Tech news in the future and I hope you didn't miss me too much. I will post a youtube video to blow your mind shortly until then I say good day to you.

Browser Wars

The best browser is the one that you use the most. If I use a particular browser and I don't like other browsers that does not mean that other browsers won't work better for you. That being said the most popular by uses is Firefox. I use Google Chrome, which is the second best browser by popularity. In the future I plan to show the good and the bad qualities of each browser.

I would like to know, What browser do you use?

(this pole has ended and with the two votes that I got Google chrome won)

Yay for the two people that like this blog :D

-got to start somewhere-

I have settled on a look for the blog I hope you like it.

Look at the Signs

When you are looking to build a website for your business one of the first things you will need is a host. A good host may also provide you with your own domain name. I searched for a hosting company to see the different offers that they have. I came across Before heading on over to there site read this interesting conversation I had with a "live" agent.

I was just about to leave there webpage when a java box popped up with a 20% offer. The pop up stated that if I chose to stay on the page I could talk to a representative right away. Here is how the conversation went.

I thought this was somewhat humerus so I decided to share it with you. The point of this article to warn you against people who scam you. If there is any sign that someone is trying to take advantage of you it is best to steer clear of them. If you already are with this web host please know that I am not trying to hurt there reputation in any way. I simply want to warn you of the signs of a scam. If they lie once they may do it again.

Here is a background called apple rocks. It from a website that hosts a bar that can be placed on your desktop to make it look like a mac desktop. This Picture is one of my favorites on the site.

Facebook Integration.

Facebook is the second most popular site. Almost everyone I know has a Facebook account and it is most likely bookmarked in you browser right now. The question is if this site is so powerful then why not use it to promote your website? The answer is there is no reason not to. Facebook has made it so easy for you to set up a page so that people can "become fans" or as it is now called "like" your website and share it with there friends. This makes your website traffic grow at a considerable rate. Consider this when thinking about integrating with Facebook.

Dictionary Added to Cyber Leak

I added a dictionary button to the site that will look up a word that you type in to the pop up box.
This button can be dragged into you favorites bar so that you can look up a word from anywhere you are. I found this link in my search for an add on that I could use to look up words I didn't know.

This picture should be added to the right bar on the blog. When you click it a box will pop up asking what word you want to look up. When you type the word it and continue it will look up this word on Have fun with this I use it almost every day.

Volcano Eruption in Iceland

There where a lot of flight delays after the eruption of the Iceland volcano. I was wondering why it would delay flights and what a volcano could do to a plane. When you think of a volcano often times you think of the initial eruption and the flow of lava down the hill side. That is not all a volcano eruption creates. It also creates a great billow of smoke that rises into the air carrying debris along with it. Inside this great cloud is very fine ash that is moving quickly. If a plain where to collide with this cloud it would sandblast the plain and cause some of its flight instruments to stop working correctly. It would be somewhat like flack that is used to shoot down enemy planes in a war.

I set out to find out about this because of a post on facebook. I was lead to believe that it would somehow effect the electronics on the plane. I was thinking more along the lines of power failure and loss of control of the plane due to no power. It turns out that the main problem would be hardware failure such as the engines of the plane. The plane would have a significant amount of weight added to it because of the ash and would become somewhat hard to control. So ,in conclusion, I am glad that there are airport advisers out there who can see these hazards before someone gets hurt.

New Name

I have been trying to figure out a name for this blog for a little while now. Cyber Leak is what I came up with. Cyberspace is another word for the internet and since my blog is on and about the internet I figured Cyber Leak was a fitting name. The leak part I came up with by searching for the word information in a thesaurus. Now that you know the background of the name of my blog I want to know what you think of it. I changed the comments section to make it easier to comment. So let me know what you think. Happy reading.

How To Place a Bottom Bar on Your Site.

As you can see I have a bar at the bottom of the blog. This bar contains a lot of the components that you might find throughout a website. The advantage of this bar is that it can be seen anywhere on my blog. You can share a post at any given page with the click of a few buttons. Subscribing to my blog is made easier by the Rss button that is located beside share. I can also program a message to great each new visitor by text.Translating the entire page is made easy with the Translation button at the bottom left next to the search bar. Last but not least you can Minimize this whole bar if it is in your way by selecting the arrows at the bottom right of the bar. Just next to that is a link that takes you to the wibiya site. Have fun getting more veiwers to your blog and Good luck.

Free Flash Website

This website is a "free" flash website. You can make your own flash website for free but it has some adds on it. They ,of course, make some options only available to you after you pay them. The customer service is quick to answer any questions you have. This website builder is for the average person that wants to build a flash website at a fast pace. Building the website will require no coding abilities and the main options are easy to learn. I used it to build an example for you here.

ipad - Scrabble video

I thought it was about time that I got around to the ipad in one of my posts.
Now to all you Windows fan-boys out there just calm down. I don't have an Ipad personally and I don't plan on getting one any time soon. This video show one of my favorite features that I have seen on the Ipad, which is bluetooth. At the end of the video you will see two users with Ipod touches that are connected to the Ipad. One of the users flicks his letter on to the Ipad. This is a very cool feature and I'm hoping that Windows is taking some notes on this one. If any one decides they don't want there Ipad anymore just send it to me. I hope you like this video.

Pascal Campion - Animation

Pascal Campion is an amazing person that does some great animations. I set out to find his greatest one but in my opinion they are all top notch check them out on his website.

Some examples of his animations:

He also has a blog that is way more popular than this one. He uses his blog to post pictures that he draws. You should check that out too. Let me know what you think about either of these.

This Video is to amazing not to watch! So put it in full screen and sit back

New Background Image.

I made this new background image for fun and to bring a feel of the website into the background. I also discovered something. When I used Facebook to host the picture the first time it changed my picture dimensions. Thats ok Facebook was not meant for that so I tried it on Photobucket. Photobucket did the same thing so I tried Flicker and that didn't work. I finally landed on Imageshack and it worked. So if you want to host a picture for your site go with the last one I mentioned. By the way don't forget to vote for or against the new background.

Boom! (Wallpaper)

This is Iron Man background is cool and although I know it's from the first movie. I still think that this is my favorite part of the first one.

One Button Ninja Game

This game only uses one button which is cool. You have to go through a series of challenges before you reach the top and beat the Boss. You could check this game out.

Lambo Background

This is my current background. I took a picture of it at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Car Show that I went to over the weekend. They had a lot of cars there and my Dad took a few hundred pictures.

I took this picture with I Nikon D70. My Dad is a Pro Photographer and he shoots with a Nikon D200 his pictures can be found here. He hasn't uploaded pictures of this years Car show yet but take a look at last years.

CS5! Came out today!

Creative suites five came out today! This amazing set of programs is used for all kinds of web related projects. Adobe Photoshop is the most famous of them. Personally I like Dreamweaver better which is a program for building websites. This group of programs is too expensive for me so I will have to wait and just stick to CS3 for now.

Free 3D Rendering Program!

Blender is a free 3D program that lets you model and animate 3d videos. It can also be used to make games and intros for your Youtube videos. Here is an example of what Blender can do.

Tin Cans! (Cooliris)

This post is about a cool tin can creation website and Cooliris.
Cooliris is an add on for your web browser (ie, Firefox, Flock, Chrome) and it's also a slide show viewer. You can embed a slide show into your website or blog. I embedded a slide show of pictures so you can see there cool creations while trying out this slide show viewer.
I have the Cooliris add on for Flock and Google Chrome. It is an amazing way to view pictures and it's free!

Bulgarian Council Member Booted for Farmville

Bulgarian Council Member is Kicked off the council for playing Farmville during a budget meeting. Now as funny as this may be he seems to have an addiction to this game. A very serious addiction in fact because he was warned before about playing games during this meeting. To get the full scope of the story you have to understand that he is in control of people in a city in real life. I think he should have enough free time to get his priorities straight since he lost his job. He was not the only one that was warned about it though there where a few other members of the council that where using the meeting time to play on there farms. He was just the only one that didn't listen. I say good luck to him and I hope that he can still make enough money to support his family. Crazy world we live in... If you want more info take a look at AOL's post.

I was blown away when I used this Scheme designer to find the best color for a website. They even have a function to target specific people that may visit your site! This amazing screensaver is for the computer but is also available on the Ipod App store. Its too amazing not to share so I'm posting it here. I don't have an Iphone or Ipod myself so let me know how well it works.

Make Farmville Faster

Make Farmville Run Faster.

The number one thing that I see as a complaint on the Farmville fan page besides land expansions is that the game is running slow. This is due to the high concentration of graphics inside of Farmville. Although I am not an expert I can help you make your farm run faster so that you can enjoy the game for what it is. Here are the steps.
1. Click the eye at the top left of the game until the graphics are at the lowest.
2. Make sure you are not running other programs or tabs
3. Have your flash up to date
4. Keep your farm neat and clean and sell anything you don't want
Although it is fun to get the most things of all of your friends it slows your game down in the process. I hope that this article was helpful to you and that you have many more fun days farming on Farmville. Thank you for reading my article and if this has helped you please share with your friends. Happy Farming!
